Web-based condition assessment and monitoring for traction motor brushes and wheel sets

RM Regionalverkehr AG (now BLS AG) introduced VIPS^®CARSIS (today distributed under the brand zedas^®asset) for the planning and management of its maintenance processes. As a supplement to VIPS^®CARSIS, ENOTRAC was contracted to design and develop a web-based module for the condition assessment and monitoring of traction motor brushes and wheel sets. ENOTRAC’s project remit included:

• Definition of the processes
• Specification of requirements
• Software implementation and validation
• Deployment in  the RM Regionalverkehr AG corporate environment and user training
