Setting and verification of LCC/RAM parameters for the new RM articulated railcars

RM Regionalverkehr AG ordered articulated rail cars from Stadler Bussnang AG. Both the initial purchase costs and Life Cycle Costs (LCC) were taken into consideration in the business case.

ENOTRAC was contracted by RM Regionalverkehr AG to carry out a contract amendment, which establishes the LCC/RAM conditions (RAM = Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) as well as the verification process. The requirements of both the vehicle operator and the supplier were taken into consideration.
