Evaluation of commercial bids for diesel-electric main line locomotives, and LCC calculations:

ENOTRAC was contracted by Israel Railways to evaluate 19 commercial bids for new or upgraded diesel-electric main line locomotives. A systematic comparison of the technical and operational characteristics of the proposed rolling stock was undertaken. In addition, Life Cycle Costs (LCC) were calculated for the short-listed locomotives.
