Load calculations using FABEL for the network area Bern – Olten (NBS, Mattstetten – Rothrist, Grauholz, Bern, existing line Bern – Zollikofen – Burgdorf – Aarburg – Olten, upgraded line Solothurn – Wanzwil). Simulations timetable with additional heavy freight trains of the overhead line for the new line, determination of the feeding sites and investigation of weak points in the existing power supply system of the main line. Assessment of failure scenarios and possible emergency power supply arrangements.
