Review and type tests of vehicle-borne ETCS equipment and document management

ENOTRAC was commissioned to undertake various tasks in connection with the development of new ETCS vehicle equipment

The SBB SA-NBS project is responsible for the upgrade of 465 SBB and BLS vehicles operating on the Swiss main lines, which are equipped with ETCS Level 2. ENOTRAC supported SBB with the examination and acceptance of the test plans, test specifications and reports, which the contractor has to submit as evidence of conformity with the contractual requirements and the applicable standards. The work included taking part in type tests and acceptance tests for equipment, as well as carrying out audits of the suppliers.

ENOTRAC designed and implemented a web-based database tool for the efficient management of the SA-NBS project documentation.
