Aufgaben: Das Einsatzgebiet ist vielseitig und umfasst verschiedene nationale und
internationale Projekte im Bereich Safety, RAM und EMC. Die Aufgaben reichen vom
Erstellen von Sicherheitsnachweisen und Zuverlässigkeitsstudien über
RAMS-Engineering, ETCS-Engineering und -Tests, EMC-Untersuchungen
(Sicherheitsanlagen – Fahrzeuge – Bahnstrom – Rückströme) sowie Messungen.

Profil: Sie haben einen Ingenieurabschluss, vorzugsweise in Elektrotechnik oder
Maschinenbau. Analytisches und lösungsorientiertes Denken in immer wieder neuen
und anspruchsvollen Aufgaben motiviert Sie. Ihre guten Deutsch- und
Englischkenntnisse unterstützen Sie in der Abwicklung der verschiedenen Projekte
in den Bereichen Safety, RAM und EMC. Ihre teamorientierte Persönlichkeit und Ihr
Interesse an der Bahnwelt runden Ihr Profil ab.

Expansion in the UK has created an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer (Railway Systems) to enhance our capabilities mainly in the areas of power supply and rolling stock.

As a high calibre graduate with several years' relevant experience, you will have a sound appreciation of the fundamentals and good problem-solving skills, combined with an awareness of the system-level issues in traction systems. Experience in traction/signalling compatibility and the safety case regime would be an asset.

You should be just as comfortable with hands-on involvement in client projects as with the use of leading-edge software tools. Self-motivated to work alone or as a team player, often in a multi-national setting, you should have excellent communication and reporting skills. Tenacious and results-oriented, you will thrive on the variety of challenging projects using the latest technologies. International travel will be involved.

A working knowledge of a European language would be an advantage, as would be membership of the Institution of Electrical Engineers.
